I have always been a person who journals, in fact my very first journal was when I was in grade 2.
Although I am a certified teacher, English is not my major so bare with me if I make mistakes!
I am currently working as a teaching assistant in the elementary sector. I also have both a diploma and a degree in Child and Youth Work. I have a variety of different experiences working in the human service and educational sector that influences how I work.
As I mentioned in my About Me section, I hope to share my professional experiences and tips in this blog, but before I do that perhaps I should share a little more about myself.
I love writing. I never thought I would say that when I was a teenager as I struggled a lot with it. I only learned how to improve my writing and develop my writing skills in college. It is in college where I truly started to feel like I could be successful in school. It is there where I started my personal and professional journey of self-discovery.
My journey is certainly not over, but I have had a lot of experiences in that time and I'd like to share them with you!
